Survival of the Fittest

I don't spend countless hours in the library studying, rewriting notes, and understanding concepts for my health. I do it because when it is all said and done I want to be a pharmacist. They say "In the end it will all be worth it". First of all who is they?! They obviously have never taken Organic Chemistry. The sole purpose of the last two quarters was to get through O.Chem. I'm in my third and final quarter and I couldn't be happier. :-) I'm convinced that O.Chem was designed after Darwin's theory, Survival of the fittest. It is full of reactions and concepts that are stated in a way that only a few understand. I don't know if I would put myself in that group. But I've made it through the last two quarters with my sanity...so I guess I'm understanding something. Even though O. Chem has taken over my life, I've realized what it means to work hard and see the results. O.Chem has forced me to use my time well and appreciate the time away from the library. So the saying "In the end it will all be worth it" is something that "I know that's some easy shit to say, but I'm gonna live it. I'm still going to put my faith to rest in it"...With that said I'm ready to finish O.Chem on a high note. I've come too far to settle for mediocrity.
