Dream.Focus.Plan

The biochem exam grades have been posted. I didn't do half bad. I'm quite pleased with myself. I expected a higher grade but the grade received will do.

I'm already thinking about the second midterm. There is more work ahead.

I'm trying to stay focused.
Besides the well being of my friends, family, and the world (teamwork makes the dream work), I always pray for focus. It seems silly now that I see that admission on paper. But it's true.

I pray for focus...the ability to keep the goals at the forefront of my thoughts.
I just gotta keep on pushing
because my dreams and aspirations are so close
so close
I can touch them.

They are tangible

dancing lightly on my fingertips
I carry them with me always to remind myself of why I continue
...So with that.
Time to get focused (again.)
It's an on going process
I'm a work in progress
Or as my friend in my head, Angela Simmons, says

"I aint perfect babygirl. Work with the kid"
