Come harder. This won't be easy.

I heart Beyonce. I am not ashamed to admit it. She is releasing a new album at the end of the month and I am too excited. The THIRST is real
With that said, I have noticed recently that by saying that I am a Beyonce fan there are some preconceived notions about what that means.
Case in point: RT @SKAfrica: Beyonce manipulates the minds of black women better than any pimp ever could.

EYE.TO.THE.ROLL. I am not a Black girl that simply enjoys Beyonce because I don't have a mind of my own. I enjoy her music and I respect her hustle. She has a work ethic that is out of this world. You may not like her music or her blonde lace fronts but you can't deny that she works hard and knows how to market herself. She is a performer that needs to stay away from the big screen but I digress. 
I'm a Beyonce fan. Sue me.  I get excited when I see that blonde lacefront blowing in the wind via her diva fan. I love dancing around my apartment to her music. She has the ability to absolutely do no promotion and her albums still sell. She channels her inner hoodrat in certain songs (Soldier&Video Phone). She loves her some Jay-Z. When driving with my girls, I can play a couple of her songs and we know all the words,pauses, and ad libs. She is an entertainer that can sing and dance without sounding tired. *looks @ RiRI*(......that RiRi shade was too easy. But RiRi is improving. LOL)


My love for Beyonce is not as blind as it seems. I'm convinced she doesn't use L'oreal products.  I didn't buy the Sasha Fierce album *gasps* and still think 3-4 songs she could've kept to herself. Obsessed was a comedy but I don't think it was supposed to be. Lol. I wanted her to sit down and actually take a break. For a period it was actually too much Beyonce. Who knew there could be such a thing?!  She didn't upgrade Jay-Z. He put a ring on it because he wanted to. She has a tendency to not pay homage. That Billboard performance was not her idea. C'mon son. 


At the end of the day...I'm #teamtalent which in my book equals Team Beyonce. *pops gum*
