Story Time.

My friend texted me last night. Nothing real special about that. I be textin. In this particular convo, we were talking about getting tested. She was hesitant because she didn't want her boyfriend to think she didn't trust him. Since when did getting tested for sexually transmitted diseases mean we didn't trust our partner? Chile....
I quickly responded, "Getting tested is about safety not about not trust."
I wear a seat belt when I get in the car with someone else. Not because I think they are gonna flip over three times and crash head first into oncoming traffic. But because I want to protect myself.
