The Evolution

We used to talk all the time. Sharing every moment of every day. No detail was left unturned. Now we have grown up. We have grown closer. Sometimes apart. Life happened. Now we barely talk. Sharing only the minimum. Only enough information to keep the friendship afloat. There are times when the urge to share isn't even there. Out of imaginary obligation, texts are sent and phone calls made.We blame schedules, classes, the rain, and anything else we can think of. Who wants to admit they don't want to be bothered? Who wants to admit they are tired of being the glue that holds the friendship together? Who wants to face the end of a friendship?
