I started this blog to document my journey towards graduation. It was wrought with every emotion imaginable....many of which were poured into this blog. Sometimes, I go back and reread previous posts.
The emotions become real. I experience it all over again. Funny how that works. I can't believe how crazy I could be at times. Academia and life can really push you to the edge of crazy. Words are powerful.

Many of the poems have already been posted on here (new ones are sprinkled in) but I decided I wanted a place just for my poetry!
I say all of this to say, now that I've joined the alumni club, what's a girl to do with her blog?
I didn't realize how important this blog was to me until I mess with the format or tweak posts. Yall don't know how much I antagonized over the layout and the colors. Lol. But I wanna do something different....a name change, more posts/content, a different layout.....the possibilities are endless. I posed these questions to my girl over at http://masonjarsandmatriculation.blogspot.com/ and she was just as confused as I was.
I've decided not to make any hard decisions until I hear back from my schools.....
So for now, the blog won't see any changes until then. Ha.
