Plan B

During this last week before finals, I've had a few friends that have expressed worry about their futures! They too came to college with cotton candy dreams about how these four years would pass by; each one of us surprised at how the four years actually turned out. We are standing at crossroads, attempting to sort out our lives, hoping and praying we make the right decisions.Woman Clasping Hands

We all have goals that we would like to see accomplished!! I want to graduate and go on to pharmacy school. But there is so much between now and then. If I've learned nothing else over the years, I've learned one thing: being able to accept change in a positive way is everything. Change is good and necessary. I have no control over many things but I can control how I react to them. I have my potential pharmacy schools in mind but I know there is a possibility I won't get in. <---That is a feeling that is hard to grasp let alone get over. Defeat. But I know one of my schools will accept me and it will be a rewarding experience. I can not wait for the day upon receiving my acceptance letter to pharmacy school, looking over to my mommie and her saying, "We're in Doris! We're in"
*Get hip to that Fame reference!!

What I'm trying to say is this: We can't get discouraged ladies!! Defeat is only a small part of this journey! Look at how far we've come!! We've dedicated many sleepless nights and rushed mornings to this dream! So WE will see it through. :-)
