Time and Money: Two Things I Need More Of

There are pages to be read, notes to be understood, emails to be sent, and phone calls to be made. Here I am sitting at my desk covered in seemingly important papers, trying to figure out how I'm going to do it all. With each passing day and unfinished to do list later, I'm convinced there are not enough hours in the day. The need for a personal assistant is real. Although I can only pay her in meals and advice, I'm sure someone would be up for the job. Speaking of pay, I have recently become acquainted with the myth of the broke college student.

"The only think I am spending money on these days is: food, gas, bills, and clothes. I gotta eat, I gotta drive, I gotta stay out of debt, and I gots to look good"--Kid Fury

Money on clothesline

But here's the thing: the Broke College Student is not a myth. She is living, breathing, and attempting with all her being to stretch her few pennies into a couple of dollars. The Broke College Student knows that one day she will no longer have to pinch pennies or rub her imaginary dimes together. They say money can't but you happiness. But money can buy food which makes the Broke College Student ecstatic. :-)
