This lyric pretty much sums up my whole love life (if that's what you want to call it?!). Of course it comes from my boyfriend (in my head) J.Cole :)

I always ask myself this: do I like him or the idea of him? These are two very different scenarios! I've had many a guy in my life. Admittedly, I think I've liked the idea of them; the idea of how our relationship would progress. At times, I could be very Joan Carol Clayton like by going from 0 to 60 in a matter of moments ((2:03 mark)).

Yes my feelings have been hurt and the "relationships" have not progressed

but you live and you learn right?! In recent months, I've decided to try something new. Taking it slow, letting things progress naturally. I'm not too sure how its coming along since there isn't a boy to test it against. (The guy at my job doesn't count because well...I don't like him. LOL)

When a new guy comes along, I'll let you know how it goes :)

But until then I'll live vicariously through my girls (who each are dealing with their own guy issues.....wait?), watch Grey's Anatomy while eating Cookies and Cream ice cream. #thelife
