I get by with a little help from my friends *JL

Two of the besties are making their way to Indiana to go to their respective universities. I think I'm supposed to be sad. But truth be told I am not. I mean I am sad that they are no longer physically close to me but I am overjoyed for them.
:-) But the real issue if you will is how will we keep these friendships going?!
For the past four years I have been by their sides whether at parties, in the study lounge, at probates, or walking through the Oval. These friendships have been nurtured and looked after for the last four years and now I am expected to do the same while we are thousands and thousands away from each other. *sigh* Are these friendships going to last?! They have to especially since I have placed them in my imaginary wedding party. I have sketched them into my five year plan. We have jokingly rehearsed the moments when our husbands and children unite.
Four years of college and the revolving door of people have taught me that friendships take work. Each person has to be willing to put in the energy to return texts, tweets, phone calls, and fb msgs. As the resident glue of each friendship, I have taken on the burden of being the friend that checks in. I would be remiss to tell you that over the past few years and a few defunct friendships later that being the only person keeping a friendship alive gets old fairly quickly. So to my lovelies that are now in Indiana, keep that in mind ;-)
I will do all I can so that we will be able to actually live out the dream of sipping margaritas in some one's backyard talking about our glory days in college while our husband's decide which one of us is crazier! I don't want twenty years to pass us by and I'm searching for you on Google!! So with that said, to the women I have become friends with in the four plus years at this great university,
I plan on being friends for life!!!!!
